National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur Recruitment 2015 for 15 Professor Posts

National Institute of Technology Manipur, a centrally funded institution is set up to impart quality technical education to various levels of higher learning. It is one of the ten newly set up NIT’s by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India vide its order no. F.23-13-2009-TS-III dated 30th October 2009 and 3rd March 2010. Recruitment Details of NIT has been given below:-

Name of the Posts:

• Professor – 05
• Associate Professor – 10
• Assistant Professor – refer notifications

No of Posts: 15 Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Professor – Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record
• Associate Professor – Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record
• Assistant Professor – Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record

Salary Scale:

• Professor – Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + AGP Rs. 10,500/- Per Month
• Associate Professor – Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + AGP Rs. 9,500/- Per Month
• Assistant Professor –  Rs. 15,600-3910 + AGP Rs. 6,000/7,000/8,000/- Per Month

Application Fee: Rs. 300/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST in favour of Director NIT Manipur payable at State Bank of India, Secretariat branch, Imphal.
